The institution of Southern Denmark awards just a handful of scholarships under the Danish Federal Scholarship initiative to highly educated applicants in acknowledgment of the significant commitment that international students make in their study.

The scholarship is awarded as either a full or half tuition charge waiver.

A half tuition fee reduction covers tuition for a full year (second and final semesters), but you must still pay fees for the very first and third semesters. Fee exemptions cover 30 ECTS each semester. The fee waiver does not cover programs that exceed 30 ECTS.

You could be invited for an interview.

The financial aid programs are offered to the most competent applicants based on their bachelor’s degree average in school and a live interview with important players of the master’s course.

Once SDU has completed your admissions application, you will be notified via email of your interview appointment. If you applied to multiple programs at once, the meeting will be given to the one with the utmost importance.

Address: Denmark.

Benefits of the scholarship

The fellowship will have two parts:

  • A full tuition waiver and an award to aid with living expenses.
  • A half tuition fee waiver provides one year’s fees (second and fourth semesters), but you must still pay for the first and third quarters. Fee exemptions wrap 30 ECTS each semester. The fee waiver does not cover courses with a total of more than 30 ECTS.
